In 1960, Roy M. Chipley, Jr. founded Chipley Paving Company in Florence, SC. Beginning with a crew of 10 employees, Chipley established a reputation for outstanding asphalt paving and grading in the area.
In 1995, Roy Chipley, III, joined his father in business and over the next 20 years, assumed full responsibility for the organization, expanding the company’s services to provide total site construction solutions for its customers. With Roy’s children also joining the team, Chipley is now in its third generation of serving the greater Pee Dee area.
With over 50 years in the industry, Roy and his crew continue to offer the best in total site construction available in South Carolina.
